David Elliott, with two albums on Atlantic Records under his belt, has also had his original songs recorded by well known artists, such as Levon Helm (drummer/singer with 'The Band'), April Wine (established Canadian band that had a hit with David's song 'I'm On Fire For You Baby', presently featured in the movie 'Trailer Park Boys') and Mick Grabham (lead guitarist for Procul Harum).
David has toured with Gordon Lightfoot, Randy Newman, The Kinks, Roxy Music, King Crimson, and Jose Feliciano, to name a few. He has recorded with various well known artists such as Paul Kossoff, lead guitarist for the group 'Free'. He has also co-written songs with such legendary songwriters as Tim Hardin, of "If I Were a Carpenter' and 'Reason To Believe' fame.

David’s original songs on this CD album include ‘I’m On Fire For You Baby’, a big hit for Canadian band April Wine, ‘I’ve Got A Bet With Myself’, recorded by ‘Band’ member Levon Helm; and ‘If You Sell One Acre’ co-written with Tim Hardin. Recorded in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, musicians include David Hood and Scott Boyer.
Davids first Atlantic Records album features a string of well known musicians such as Albert Lee, Nigel Olsson (Elton Johns drummer), Dee Murray (Elton Johns bass player), Mick Grabham (lead guitarist, Procul Harum & Cochise), Rick Wills (bass player for Peter Frampton and Foreigner), and David Mattacks.
David's second Atlantic Records album ‘Solid Ground’ includes his original recording of the April Wine hit ‘I’m On Fire For You Baby’ featuring musicians David Hood, Barry Becket, Roger Hawkins, Jimmy Johnson, and Pete Carr. Other original tracks include musicians B. J. Cole, John Perry, and Mick Grabham
This is a CD for those of you who like their music on the Country Side, featuring the Jordanaires. David also writes many of the songs on this as well, which shows his versatility in the country vein.
